I'm either giving you a great gift idea, a great gift hint to drop to someone, or a great gift-to-yourself idea! Or even just something pretty to look at. Either way check out these stunning Kate Spade Metro Grand watches I stumbled upon last week.
Talk about perfect holiday sparkle for your wrist, but also with the option to switch out the strap! To me the whole switching out the strap concept reminds me of the kinds of versatile watches that were around when I was a kid. Switch out the strap or the coloured bezel and it's like you've got a whole new watch! I like these ones because one is party perfect where as the other one is more streamlined and classic... okay, maybe not the neon pink as much but definitely the black!
I'm torn on which combo I love the most: I'm very drawn to the classic gold and black, but how fun is the rainbow and pink?

Holy Holograms!
Last winter during NYFW, the Milly show (watching the show via online stream and through pictures) really took my breath away. There were some sweet fabrics. By sweet fabrics I'm talking about hologram leather. What??? Yup. Check it out:
How cool is holographic leather, REALLY. Of course the time has come where all the pieces are now available to consumers... but as I had dreaded, at a hefty, hefty price. Check out below - that sweater $851; that clutch $482. I don't know about you but if I'm spending that much coin, it's on a trip not a sweater! For now, I will admire all these Milly pieces from afar. And I'm actually okay with that.
Dear mainstream brands, companies, and department stores,
Please work on creating some affordable fashionable pieces with a similar looking fabric ASAP. I will buy. Promise.
Sincerely,
Sam

Odd and Imperfect
Happy Tuesday! Today is the first day of the week for me as yesterday was a holiday in Canada. I love LOVE love short work weeks, but I love long weekends even more! :)
Today I'm sharing another designer quote I love - is it just me or do designers not say some of the most interesting things? I guess that's the "artist" in them! I love this Marc Jacobs quote because it supports the idea that beauty comes from uniqueness, which I always think is important for everyone to know and believe. If you're odd and imperfect (which, come on, most of us are likely a bit of each), instead think of it as being beautiful and interesting.

Twirl
The above quote was used a while back when Kate Spade launched the Twirl fragrance and capsule collection. There is something I just totally love about it - it just makes me think of being free and having fun...

My Little iPhone
Yet another not-so-practical iPhone cover that I can't get enough of! Who wouldn't want a 3D bedazzled My Little Pony case with actual hair? :)
This photo was posted by Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet on Instagram and although I say it's not practical, it's WAY more practical then the last one she posted!

Be the woman you want to be
I definitely take this to mean that whether you're figuring out your path or walking it, figuring out what you're meant to do or doing it, do not compromise who you are or who you want to be.

Coach's Shoe Closet
I have never purchased shoes from Coach. Nor have I ever associated shoes with Coach. That is until late last week when Coach changed their cover photo on Facebook. Initially I was drawn to the look of the "Shoe Closet", then after a closer look I realized it was their shoe closet with their shoes! And what lovely shoes they appear to be...
After clicking through to see close ups of their selection, I picked out a couple of favourites! I really liked their Lizzie Heel in Bright Coral (that kind of remind me of the Kate Spades shoes I previously shared) and the Coco Flat Sandal in (neon) Yellow/Ginger. I can picture wearing those all the time in the summer along with my favourite Sam Edelman Gigi sandals!
I think it might be time for me to rethink Coach and pay more attention to their shoes!

It's in the Bag: PFW
Previously I showcased some purses that were seen on the streets outside of New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, and in an effort to avoid being too repetitive I actually was going to skip Paris... that was until I saw the street style that is! Of all 3 collections, this has to be my favourite!!!
I was pretty torn on which I loved the most, but I think I've put them in order the best I can, starting with this snakeskin/neon/metal beauty!
What do you think? Are these your favourite set in the handbag trilogy?

It's in the Bag: LFW
Last week Shopbop did it again, sharing pictures of handbags, this time featured on the streets of London for London Fashion Week. I realized after my last post, that although these are beautiful bags and I love admiring them, half the fun is seeing the ensemble that they are paired with! Mixing patterns, textures, colours - there is some neat styling to be seen here. Of this lot, I'd probably say my favourite is between the orange (love the clean, simple lines and vibrant colour) and the blue/green holographic one (holographic/metallic textiles are going to be HUGE for fall). Which one would you like to tote around?

It's in the Bag: NYFW
Last week during New York Fashion Week, Shopbop put up an album on Facebook with some pictures of designer handbags that were seen around the New York City streets. Some of these handbags are completely amazing! My favourite of the lot is by FAR the Kate Spade multi-colour clutch. I'm also very drawn to anything neon at the moment so that pink one is also catching my eye. Which one is your favourite?

A+O iCouture
Shortly after my post showing off my iCouture, I came across this little beauty - this is an Alice + Olivia iPhone case! I don't know if it's for sale, or if will be for sale (I've looked a bit online and haven't found it), but designer Stacey Bendet posted it on Instagram. It's not very practical - imagine it in your purse - but man is it cute! It's also pretty hilarious. I love LOVE love it!
